Refunds and cancellation
Two products, two sets of rules, and both are on this page in full. If you are asking for your money back, you do not have to explain yourself. Last changed 21 October 2026.
The one-off report: £39, refunded for 14 days
If you bought the £39 report for one app and you are not happy with it - for any reason, or no reason - email hello@walkaround.dev within 14 days of paying and we refund it in full. No questions asked. You do not have to explain what was wrong, and you do not have to give up the receipt: what you have read stays read.
That is a promise we can make easily, because the free receipt is complete in what it tells you. If the paid part was not worth £39 to you, the answer is a refund.
The monthly subscription: £19 a month, cancelled whenever
Cancelling. Cancel whenever you like, from the billing portal - the "Manage subscription" control on your account page opens it, and it is Stripe's own page, so we never see a card. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period and no retention call. The month you have already paid for stays live to the end of that month: your rescans keep working until the period runs out, and nothing is charged after it. We do not cancel it the moment you press the button.
Refunds. A month that was delivered is not refunded, because it was used; but a month we failed to deliver is refunded pro rata. Failed to deliver means the service did not work: a report you paid for that never printed, rescans that would not run, a subscription that kept charging after you cancelled. If that happened, tell us which charge, and we refund the part of the month that failed - or the whole of it, if the whole month failed.
If a scan fails, nothing is charged. A receipt that could not be printed costs you nothing, and the pages say so where it happens.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Email hello@walkaround.dev with the receipt reference or the Stripe charge, and what you would like done. A human reads it. We answer within two working days, and refunds are issued to the card you paid with - Stripe takes a few working days after that, and how long the money takes to appear is your bank's business, not ours.
If your complaint is about something else - a receipt that looks wrong, a scan we could not complete - the same address works, and there is no charge for asking.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page takes away a right you have as a consumer under the law of England and Wales. Where the two disagree, your statutory rights win, and the 14 days above on the one-off report are meant to be more generous than the minimum rather than a substitute for it. The full terms are in the terms of use, and what we do with your data is in privacy.
